Kantha - Gorgeous Blankets from Bangladesh ♥

These cute creations are called “kantha”, they come from Bangladesh and are traditional two-sided blankets made from repurposed vintage cloth. The interesting part is that they are all handmade by women who stitch them together and use this not only as a form of self-expression but it is also a social activity which has a biblical value for them.

Visit the website of "Hand & Cloth" to see more beautiful pictures of  “kantha” blankets and plenty of information about the whole thing.

  6. There's nothing quite like a hand made quilt, so luxurious and you can feel the love when you wrap up with one.
